A relaxing vocation, seminars for groups and facilities for ecological purposes
Men, women, young people come to Maremma because they are attracted to the uncomparable air and surroundings.
They love this vocation because it is confortable and quiet. It is a place of relaxation, for their busy lives. However, they are also attracted to the many activities and excursions which are offered, such as horse back riding.
Finoria stands on top of a hill, surrounded by trees which overlook the typical vegetation found along the Mediterean.
it is among the dark green holm -oaktrees, cork-oaktrees, and the silver- green olive trees Finoria is located near the islands of Toscany with the Gulf of Follonica, and Elba islands.
In the woods, there is the quiet and shaded area, the possesses a comfortable and welcoming feeling.
There are wooden and masonary chalets for the capacity of 80 people (2-3 or 4-5 people for chalet). Each one is completely furnished with a bathroom, kitchen and heather.
The grounds are open all year round because of Maremma's climate. Every season at Finoria offers the possibility fo an unique turist and leisure experience. Primarily, it is located in one of the most important areas in Maremma. Secondly, it is near many mrecious mideval centers (Massa Marittima, Suvereto, Campiglia Marittima, Montemassi), also to important archeological areas (Populonia, Vetulonia, Roselle), and is the core of the natural parks complex system. In addition to, Finoria organizes excursion for horseback riding, hiking, off-road mountain biking, and sailboating from the Gulf of Follonica to Elba Island and other island of Toscany.
All Finoria it is possible to partecipate in the harvesting of chestnuts (October), of olives (November), of arbutus berries and wild berries (May), and of manna (July). People who partecipate in the harvesting will be able to make oil and marmalade (jam) and take those products home.
The athletic facilities (swimming pool, tennis court, and archery) complete the hamlet, which make the days past an a very pleasant way. In the hamlet, laboratories, a library, conference rooms, and atelier are available fro groups and associations that remain at Finoria for professional training seminars and studies.
