Gavorrano: Loc. Follonica (Grosseto)

It owes its name from the Latin Caput Boreanum became Head Borano, Cavorano up to the name, not by chance Gavorrano was renowned throughout Italy for the considerable amount of Pyrite extracted annually from underground.
